Fire crews were on the scene of a vehicle and vegetation fire that grew to 15 acres in Thermal Wednesday.
Firefighters responded at around 10:20 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a vehicle fire at the intersection of 72nd Avenue and Buchanan Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The department said one vehicle and two acres of vegetation were on fire. The fire grew to 15 acres within two hours.
There was no threat to any structures.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
