A 49-year-old man was found shot to death Saturday on a roadway in Jurupa Valley.
Deputies responded at 3 a.m. to a report of a man down at Etiwada Avenue and Jurupa Road and found Ismael Martinez of Jurupa dead from gunshot wounds, said Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Steve Brosche.
Any suspects fled the scene before deputies arrived, he said.
Additional details were not available, Brosche said. Homicide detectives responded to the scene and began an investigation.
