A person was stabbed Thursday at an apartment building in Koreatown, and the suspect was being sought.
Officers were sent to Fifth Street and Hobart Boulevard about 1:30 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The injured person was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, police said.
Authorities surrounded the building, believing the suspect was inside, but several hours later determined that the suspect was not at the location, according to police and Fox 11, which also reported that the man allegedly stabbed his roommate.
