A 28-year-old man accused of stealing a purse from an Alhambra business last month was taken into custody, police said Monday.
The burglary occurred around 6:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at Atherton Baptist Homes at 214 S. Atlantic Blvd., police said. The suspect allegedly stole an employee’s purse and later attempted to use the victim’s credit cards.
Alhambra police said Monday the suspect — identified by police as Nickolas Atrato — had been taken into custody. The circumstances of the arrest were not released, but Alhambra police said it was made with assistance from the Brea Police Department.
Atrato was booked on suspicion of burglary, police said.
