A 41-year-old man was arrested Saturday for allegedly stealing a vehicle in Laguna Beach.
The taking from the Volvo Polestar vehicle showroom was reported early Saturday morning, according to Laguna Beach police.
Responding officers found an exterior glass wall shattered and a brick retaining wall was destroyed, LBPD reported. They also found damage throughout the building, multiple vehicles vandalized and a Polestar missing.
Several hours later, the stolen vehicle was located in Newport Beach and a pursuit ensued. Arshad Allauddin, 41, of Tennessee, was later arrested by Newport Beach police on suspicion of a drug-related DUI including felony evading and vehicle theft.
