The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Saturday circulated photos of a 13-year-old girl diagnosed with anxiety and depression, who went missing in South Los Angeles.
Melanie Jean Garcia, who also suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, was last seen at about 9:15 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of East 126th Street, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau reported.
Garcia was described as a 4-feet-9-inch tall Hispanic female weighing 110 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, gold necklace and silver rosary.
The sheriff’s Century station urged anyone with information regarding Garcia’s whereabouts to call them at 323-568-4800.
