A man and woman walking on a sidewalk in the Mid-City area were struck by a vehicle Wednesday and seriously injured.
A 48-year-old woman and 51-year-old man were treated at the scene, then taken to a hospital, according to Nicholas Prange with the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A 19-year-old male pedestrian was also injured and taken to a hospital in a fair condition, Prange said.
LAFD paramedics also treated the vehicle’s driver, who declined to be taken to a hospital, Prange said.
The crash occurred around 5:25 p.m. in the 6100 block of Pico Boulevard, near La Cienega Boulevard, Prange said.
The vehicle hit a building after hitting the pedestrians, Prange said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
