A woman was struck by an SUV and killed Friday in Lancaster, and authorities sought the public’s help to find the hit-and-run motorist.
The woman was fatally injured about 2:25 a.m. on Sierra Highway at Lancaster Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Information was not immediately available on the woman’s identity. The hit-and-run vehicle was described as a brown Chevrolet Tahoe.
