A fire at a strip mall in Sun Valley was quickly extinguished Friday.
Firefighters were called at 4:28 a.m. to 8001 N. Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Strathern Street where they found the two-story building with smoke coming from the building’s attic, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
It took 48 firefighters 30 minutes to knock down the fire.
No injuries were reported.
