A 56-year-old Redondo Beach man suspected of possessing child pornography was arrested Thursday.
Detectives received information through the participation in the national Internal Crimes Against Children Task Force and identified Renato Detassis as a possible suspect, according to Redondo Beach Police Department Lt. Jeff Mendence.
Investigators searched Detassis’ residence Thursday, prompting his arrest, Mendence said.
