A person was killed Saturday in a vehicle crash in Downey, authorities said.
The crash occurred in the area of Downey Avenue and Imperial Highway, according to a watch sergeant at the Downey Police Department, who added that he had no other information.
A SigAlert was issued at 5:11 a.m. closing the eastbound and westbound lanes of Imperial Highway, from Downey Avenue to Paramount Boulevard for an unknown duration, the California Highway Patrol reported.
There was no other information available.
