A fire that burned about a half acre of brush in the unincorporated Santa Susana Mountains above Chatsworth was extinguished Tuesday.
Firefighters were called at 11:51 p.m. Monday to 11400 Poema Place, north of the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway where they battled the flames, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange said.
Prange said the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Ventura County Fire Department assisted in putting out the fire in 37 minutes.
No injuries and no damage to any structures were reported.
