A man in his 50s was fatally stabbed in Commerce, authorities said Saturday.
Deputies from the East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station responded at approximately 5:25 p.m. Friday to the 5900 block of Telegraph Road near the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and the Santa Ana (5) Freeway regarding a person who was down and not breathing, said the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Upon their arrival, deputies found the victim with stab wounds to his upper torso. Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics were called but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
