A tree trimmer was fatally injured Wednesday in Agoura Hills, authorities said.
Firefighters were sent to the 4000 block of Lewis Road, south of the 101 Freeway, at about 10:30 a.m. on a report that a person was trapped about 40 feet up a tree, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene, the fire department reported. Information was not immediately available on the victim’s identity.
The circumstances of the death were under investigation.
