Two men were wounded Monday evening in a stabbing at a house in Lomita, authorities said.
The stabbings were reported at 8:27 p.m. in the 2100 block of Via Madonna, according to Deputy M. McClendon of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
One of the men was taken to a hospital in critical condition by paramedics, she said. The other injured man was not transported but his condition was not known.
A “person of interest” was detained, McClendon said.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the stabbings, which were under investigation.
