Two men were wounded in a stabbing at a house in Lomita, and investigators Tuesday were working to figure out what happened.
The stabbings were reported at 8:27 p.m. Monday in the 2100 block of Via Madonna, which is a cul-de-sac, according to Deputy M. McClendon of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
One of the men was taken to a hospital in critical condition by paramedics, she said. The other injured man was not transported to a hospital, and his condition was not clear.
A “person of interest” was detained, McClendon said.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the stabbings, which were under investigation.
