A fire was burning Monday in a vacant commercial building in the Hollywood area.
Firefighters were sent to the 1400 block of North New Hampshire Avenue shortly before 6 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire was burning in a two-story building that formerly housed a hotel, the LAFD reported.
