An outside fire that extended into the rear of a two-story home in El Sereno was knocked down in 17 minutes by 32 firefighters Wednesday evening with no injuries reported.
Firefighters responded to the 3300 block of North Linda Vista Terrace about 8:30 p.m., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
It was unclear what may have sparked the fire, and the cause was under investigation, Humphrey said.
