A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash Saturday in Tujunga.
The accident was reported at 12:50 p.m. Saturday in the 3500 block of Big Tujunga Canyon Road, prompting the California Highway Patrol to issue a Sigalert shutting down northbound and southbound lanes at North Trail Canyon Road. The road was partially reopened in both directions about 4:40 p.m.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, CHP Officer A. De Los Reyes told City News Service.
The circumstances leading up to the crash and a description of the rider were not immediately available, Reyes said.
