A magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck 1.3 miles east-northeast of Fullerton at 8:09 p.m. Monday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
There were no reports of injuries or structural damage, according to the Fullerton Police Department.
An Anaheim city official described the earthquake as “brief but noticeable,” in a statement posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“We are awaiting more details with no major concerns at this time,” the statement said.
People near the epicenter reported to ABC7 feeling a single strong jolt. The station received reports of shaking from viewers in Disneyland, elsewhere in Anaheim and Tustin.
A magnitude 2.3 earthquake struck 2 miles east of Fullerton at 8:28 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
