At least two people were wounded Sunday morning during a shooting at a San Pedro party, with one victim possibly dead at the scene.
The shooting occurred at about 12:20 a.m. near 11th and Palos Verdes streets, according to a police service representative at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
Officers who responded called for a canopy, the PSR said. Canopies are used to conceal deceased victims from view during investigations.
One patient was taken by paramedics to Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance and one showed up at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in San Pedro, he said.
The initial call was about four to five shots being fired at a party, he said.
