It took 38 firefighters 28 minutes Sunday morning to put out flames that burned through a pallet yard in the Florence area of Los Angeles and damaged a 3,000-square-foot commercial building.
The fire was reported at 3:09 a.m. at 747 E. Manchester Ave., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Margaret Stewart.
The first arriving units had the flames out at 3:37 a.m. before additional units arrived, Stewart said.
No injuries were reported, she said, and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
