A man was fatally injured Friday in a single-vehicle crash in Lancaster.
The crash was reported around 12:45 p.m. at 20th Street East and Avenue H, according to the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station.
Sheriff’s officials said the male driver of a white pickup was traveling eastbound on Avenue H when he lost control of the vehicle, veering into a dirt field where the truck rolled over, ejecting the driver.
Police said the man was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital, where he later died. It was unclear if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash. An investigation remained ongoing Friday afternoon.
