Two pedestrians were hit Sunday, including a child, and one was killed by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene in Gardena, it was reported.
The Gardena Police Department reported an accident Sunday morning in the area of Marine and Budlong Avenues, and advised the public to expect traffic delays.
According to a report from ABC7, the victims were crossing a street in a crosswalk when they were struck, and one of them was a child.
Attempts to contact the police department for further information were not immediately successful.
