A man who sustained unspecified injuries in Lancaster died at a hospital Friday, prompting an investigation by sheriff’s homicide detectives.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to the intersection of Third Street East and Avenue J around 12:15 p.m. and found the unidentified man, who was taken to a hospital.
There was no immediate word on the nature or possible cause of injuries, or if foul play was involved.
There was also no immediate word on a possible suspect in the death.
