Two people were airlifted by Los Angeles County Fire Department rescue personnel Friday evening from an airplane that crashed in a remote area approximately five miles south of Acton.
The crash was reported to the Los Angeles County Fire Department around 6:45 p.m., NBC4 reported.
The Piper Cherokee aircraft left the Palmdale Airport at approximately 5:40 p.m. and flew around 30-35 miles before crash landing.
The rescued parties who was airlifted out of the area appeared to be conscious, according to NBC.
An emergency response perimeter was set up in the remote area, where there are no homes or pedestrians.
The plane appeared to be intact and there is no word on what led to this crash, according to NBC.
