Sheriff’s detectives Tuesday are investigating the circumstances surrounding the body of a man found near a creek bed in Hawaiian Gardens.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were called at just after 11 p.m. Monday to a remote area near Coyote Creek, regarding a shots fired call. Upon their arrival, they found the man’s body with multiple gunshot wounds near a hillside, Fox 11 reported.
“There was information about shots being fired in the area,” sheriff’s homicide Lt. Omar Camacho told Fox 11.
