Authorities Thursday sought a woman in her 30s for questioning in connection with a hit-and-run crash in Lancaster that killed a 46-year-old man.
Deputies were sent to the 16200 block of Valeport Avenue, near 162nd Street East and Avenue O, on April 11 to reports regarding a victim, later identified as Louie Martin Cervantes, who was struck by a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Investigators identified a woman known as Erica as a person of interest, who was being sought for questioning and presumed to be the driver of the vehicle that fatally struck Cervantes.
