Firefighters Wednesday were working to extinguish a blaze that burned through the roof of a commercial building in the Lynwood area.
The fire was reported at about 8:10 a.m. in the 5400 block of Cortland Street, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Crews were working to douse the flames and prevent them from spreading to other structures in the area.
No injuries were immediately reported.
The cause of the fire was not clear.
