A man riding a motorcycle was killed Saturday when he was hit by one vehicle that knocked him to the ground, then another while he was in the road, and neither stopped to help.
The fatal crash was reported at 7:40 a.m. Saturay at South Avenue 20 and North Broadway, in the Lincoln Heights area, Los Angeles Police Department Officer J. Chaves told City News Service.
The first hit-and-run motorist ran a red light before striking the motorcycle, Chaves said.
Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the officer said.
