The public’s assistance was sought by authorities Tuesday in locating a 20-year-old man last seen in Compton.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Mark Zarate Jr. was last seen in the 1700 block of West 151st Street around 7 a.m. Thursday.
Zarate was described as a 5-feet-6-inch tall Hispanic man weighing 140 pounds with brown hair and eyes.
Sheriff’s officials said he was last seen wearing a beige sweater and black sweatpants before being reported missing and is possibly heading toward or is in Texas.
