A 53-year-old woman who was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the Antelope (14) Freeway near Acton was identified Monday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The crash was reported at approximately 3:56 a.m. Saturday when California Highway Patrol officers responded to the northbound freeway at Ward Road, where they found the victim, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.
The victim was identified by the medical examiner as Tiffany Grimes.
She was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.
A Sigalert issued at 4:30 a.m. closing the number one and two lanes of the northbound freeway, was canceled at 8:42 a.m., the CHP said.
