A 72-year-old hiker suffered head trauma Saturday when he fell in a remote section of the Topanga State Park in the Pacific Palisades, authorities said.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 11:08 a.m. to a remote section of the Backbone Trail, near Rivas Canyon, at the Topanga State Park.
The man was airlifted to a hospital, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported. His condition was not immediately known.
