A man riding a motorcycle was killed after a vehicle struck him in the Lake Hughes area of the Antelope Valley, authorities said Saturday.
California Highway Patrol officers were called around 11:07 p.m. Friday to Trail E and Elizabeth Lake Road, where they found the man had been ejected after the collision, CHP Officer Erik Larsen told City News Service.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
An electricity pole was damaged in the collision.
