A 75-year-old man diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease was reported missing after being last contacted Monday in Lancaster.
Wai Chan was in last contact with his wife around 12:30 p.m. Monday and was last seen Sunday around 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of East 107th Street and Avenue J before being reported missing, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Chan was described as a 5-foot-7-inch tall Asian man weighing 140 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown T-shirt, blue jeans and gray shoes.
Sheriff’s officials said Chan’s family is concerned about his well-being due to his medical condition and is seeking the public’s help in locating him.
