At least two vehicles were set ablaze during a street takeover in downtown Los Angeles Saturday morning that involved at least 50 vehicles, but no arrests were made, authorities said.

Officers were dispatched at approximately 2:49 a.m. to 18th and Main Streets, where dozens of vehicles were at the scene and two vehicles were on fire, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Two vehicles were towed, police said. It was not immediately known if the towed vehicles were the ones on fire.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 3:05 a.m. to the location regarding “some sort of street takeover” and police were requested for a “large crowd,” the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

No hospital transports were reported. Fire department resources cleared the scene at 4:08 a.m.
