A fire that erupted Wednesday in a travel trailer at a Winchester property destroyed the trailer and damaged the house next to which it was parked, but no one was injured.
The blaze was reported at 9:43 a.m. in the 35000 block of Corte Los Robles, near Via Del Paso, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency said multiple engine crews were sent to the location and encountered flames raging in the trailer, extending to the primary residence.
Firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to neighboring properties, fully containing the fire at 10:26 a.m., officials said.
The trailer was a loss, but damage to the house was not significant.
No one was displaced, according to the fire department.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
