Felony charges are expected to be filed Thursday against a 31-year-old woman suspected of running over and killing a man during a dispute in a Norco parking lot.

Aubrey McGee of Riverside was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Jail in Riverside Tuesday on suspicion of murder.

McGee is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.

Her case was under review Wednesday by the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office.

According to sheriff’s Sgt. Jarred Bishop, shortly after midnight Tuesday, the suspect was involved in an unspecified conflict with 57-year-old Bahman Nowrozi in the parking lot of a strip mall near the intersection of Hamner and Mountain avenues.

Bishop alleged that during the confrontation, McGee ran over the victim. She did not attempt to flee.

Patrol deputies reached the location within minutes and found Nowrozi gravely injured. He was taken to a Riverside hospital, where he died a short time later.

McGee was taken into custody without incident.

A possible motive for the alleged attack was not specified, but the sergeant confirmed that the suspect and victim knew one another.

Court records show McGee has an unresolved misdemeanor case pending for driving on a suspended license, but no documented prior felony convictions.
