A reported hit-and-run on the I-10 freeway Friday left at least one person with injuries.
The incident occurred on the eastbound I-10 freeway just south of Atlantic Avenue at 4:29 p.m. Friday, according to California Highway Patrol records. The victim’s light blue vehicle was described as “totaled” in the center divide.
Multiple CHP units were dispatched to the scene minutes later, with the Indio Police Department notified around 4:35 p.m.
The extent of any injuries was not immediately clear.
