Fire crews were able to contain a blaze at a mobile home in Desert Edge Monday, and no one was injured.

The residential fire was first reported at 6:32 a.m. Monday on the 18000 block of Roberts Road, according to a Riverside County Fire Department statement. Firefighters contained the fire in about 45 minutes.

The American Red Cross was requested to assist two people displaced by the fire.

After reaching containment, firefighters remained at the double-wide mobile home for another two hours of salvage and overhaul operations, according to the statement.

No injuries were reported.
