A man suffered a gunshot wound during a fight with two men in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
Officers dispatched at about 6:15 p.m. Friday to the 6100 block of Long Beach Boulevard regarding a shooting located the victim and paramedics took him to a hospital, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The man was expected to survive his injuries.
An investigation revealed the victim was involved in a fight with two men and one of them fired a shot, striking him, police said.
The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival. No further information was available.
