Police asked for the public’s help Saturday in locating a 71-year-old, at-risk man who’s been missing since Friday.
A Silver Alert was issued for Gilbert Dominguez, who was last seen driving a red 2019 Honda Civic around 4:15 p.m. Friday on South Figueroa Street and West 59th Place in Los Angeles, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The car has California license plate number 8UJB937.
Dominguez is 5-feet-6 inches tall, weighs approximately 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a dark brown shirt, black jacket, black shorts and black shoes, authorities said.
Anyone who has seen Dominguez or knows of his whereabouts was asked to call 911.
The CHP issued the alert on behalf of the Garden Grove Police Department.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
