A motorist in a gray Toyota sedan was killed during a crash with a big rig in Lancaster, authorities said Saturday.
The crash occurred about 9:40 p.m. Friday at Longview Road and East Avenue J, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Firefighters and paramedics dispatched to the location did not transport anyone to a hospital, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
Investigators found the gray sedan under the cab of the big rig. The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. The big rig driver was uninjured, according to sources at the scene.
