A 37-year-old man was shot to death in Jurupa Valley early Tuesday.
Deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the 2900 block of Rubidoux Boulevard shortly after midnight regarding a man suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim, later identified as Avelino Recardo Sanchez of Jurupa Valley, was immediately rendered life-saving measures until the arrival of paramedics.
Sanchez was taken to a hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries.
It was unclear what motivated the fatal attack, and there was no description of a suspect.
