A man was fatally stabbed Friday during an altercation at a Burbank residence, and a family member was detained.
The man was injured about 4:45 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of North Third Street, north of East Olive Avenue, and he died at a hospital, according to the Burbank Police Department. Information on his identity was not immediately available.
Officers were sent to the residence on a report of “an unknown problem,” police said. When they got there, they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
A man related to the victim was detained inside the home, according to police.
An investigation was continuing.
