A man was shot to death in Lancaster Tuesday
Investigators responded to the 700 block of East Avenue K around 11:27 a.m. Tuesday regarding shots fired, where a man sustained gunshot wounds to his upper body.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics arrived at the location and took the victim to a hospital, where he later died.
His name was being withheld by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner pending notification of relatives.
It was unclear what motivated the shooting, and there was no description of a suspect.
