A fire damaged one unit of a duplex in the Watts area Thursday.
Firefighters sent to the 1500 block of East 92nd Street, near Compton Avenue, at 9:42 a.m. Thursday extinguished the flames in just over 15 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
No residents or firefighters were injured, but three dogs were assessed at the scene for possible injury.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
