Irvine police Tuesday were investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in a home.
Police were dispatched at 6:21 a.m. to a single-family home at Fortuna East and Park Place, according to Irvine police Sgt. Karie Davies.
Multiple people live in the home and detectives were interviewing them, Davies said. One person has been detained, she added.
Police did not release any further details.
