A person was struck and killed by a hit-and-run vehicle in Jurupa Valley, authorities said Saturday.
Deputies dispatched about 8:30 p.m. Friday to the area of Mission Boulevard and Pyrite Street, regarding a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian, located the victim in the roadway with “obvious signs of death,” according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene and there was no other immediate information.
