A Silver Alert was activated for Monday for a 71-year old man diagnosed with dementia last seen in South Los Angeles.
Dennis Hollis was last seen at approximately 8:45 p.m. Sunday near Raymond Avenue and West 37th Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Hollis is Black, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighs 170 pounds, has brown eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a black New Orleans Saints hat, a black shirt, black pants and black and red shoes. Authorities say Hollis is believed to be traveling on foot.
Anyone who has seen Hollis or knows of his whereabouts was asked to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
